So many good labor day sales are happening this weekend! Wanted to share some current favorites and things I’ve been eyeing. These jeans are ones that I wear on repeat constantly! They are high rise with a good amount of stretch, have a raw hem and the fit is sooo good. They rarely get marked down so its a good time to snag them. This tee is not on sale but its regularly $13 and you can’t beat that.   Wayfair Lots of cute fall decor is marked down this weekend! So it’s a great time to snag it as the season is just starting.   Also a lot of furniture is marked down including bed frames, chairs (very similar to my current ones), buffets, rugs and more   Home Depot Home depot has so many great decor and furniture pieces! They have the cutest throws on sale and…
Trader Joe’s is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores. They have lots of great products at great prices. Plus it’s a good one to go to when you have the kids in tow because they have the cute little baskets and give stickers and suckers at checkout. Everyone is happy! Sharing my recent Trader Joe’s haul of some of my favorites and a few new finds. If your crew is anything like mine they get a little restless having to run errands with me. The best part about taking them to Trader Joe’s with me aside from them getting treats at check out is that the store is not so oversized that it’s a huge commitment when you are there. We are in and out pretty quick which is a win for all of us. Trader Joe’s Haul Here are some of my top favorites from this Trader…
A couple weeks ago my little Lily turned 3! We love having get togethers and parties at our house and Lily really wanted something special this year. Having a party is so much fun but sometimes all the details can get away from me and theres always something I forget. Of course that leaves for a frantic last minute trip to the store which just causes more craziness on party day! So when I had the opportunity to work with Sprinkles and Confetti to create a custom party box for our princess party I was beyond excited. *This is a sponsored post. Sprinkles and confetti supplied party supplies in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own Ordering the party box The process was really fun and EASY! They have many pre made party boxes to choose from or you can do a custom box – which…
If you read my focuses for 2019 you will have noticed that one of them was to start making changes to my life and home that are healthier for my family. I feel that I already do many things that are good for us and our environment but I believe the goal is to constantly be trying to improve and make changes for the better. The first healthy home swap I wanted to make was to switch to using wool dryer balls. I have wanted to this for a long time now! When I found Friendsheep I knew this was the way to go. Friendsheep provided me this product for my honest review. All opinions are my own.  Wool Dryer Balls Making the switch to wool dryer balls is a great healthy home swap for many reasons. First and foremost you are not using and throwing away dryer sheets every…
Ever met anyone who always gets red in the face? Well if you haven’t, now you have because that is me. It could be anything; I’m happy, mad, nervous and don’t forget mostly if I’m speaking in front of a group. Yikes! But I have learned some ways of how to be more outgoing and to push past those tendencies. Shop the look I am a naturally shy and somewhat introverted person. I know what you are thinking. So you started a blog?? My thoughts too. I have always loved meeting new people, sharing ideas and helping others. That is also in my nature. But sometimes it’s just hard to get passed the part of me that gets completely embarrassed when attention is on me. So I had to learn how to more outgoing. Think what you will gain. Often all it takes is reminding ourselves of what positive…
Getting out and having a date night is so much fun for us! I really am happy to just go out and do something together. But sometimes its nice to break things up and come up with some date ideas that are more than just going out to dinner and a drink. Especially when getting to know someone new I think its even better to try out new things because it will help you get to know them better. Date Ideas While there are many different date ideas you can try out these are ones that are my favorites and tried and true. Try one of them or put your own spin on them. In the end its about having fun! Plan an activity It could be something as simple as going for a hike or your favorite sport together. Things are always more fun when you are being…

Looking forward into 2019 for me means to take a quick look back on this last year. If I had to label a theme for last year it would be growth. It was a big year of growth for me in many ways. I really have pushed myself passed my comfort zone with starting my blog. Anyone who is close to me knows I am naturally a very shy person and it took a lot for me to move past it to put myself out there and I still have to push myself to continue to do so. It was also a year of growth for our family as our kids had a lot of new experiences including their first big vacation and plane ride and learning to snowboard. We also had our first year in our new house and are still continuing the renovation project! After a quick…
