Christmas decorating will always be one of my favorite things. There’s just something magical that the lights and greenery bring to a space. I switched up a few things and tried some new this year so lets take a Christmas home tour!
Christmas in the kitchen
Lets start in my favorite spot, the kitchen. I always love to do the garland above the window with some lights. This year I switched out to a new garland from the past couple years. You can see the other one in my Holiday Decor Tips and Ideas. I also added some whimsical elements like the Christmas Cookie book, gingerbread house and candy canes. The kids love having the candy canes around!
Dining Room
Since finishing this accent wall in our dining room was still fairly recent I wasn’t prepared to hang anything directly on it yet haha. Adding a pencil tree was the perfect touch of Christmas! I have never has a cashmere style tree before and it is really beautiful.
Another fun spot in the dining room was the addition of this bar cart. We promptly turned it into a hot chocolate bar and it has been a big hit! You can also grab a copy of this Hot Chocolate printable sign there too.
Living Room
Last stop on the Christmas home tour is the living room. The layered garland on this mantel may just be my favorite thing in the house this year. I loved putting this together and creating it out of many different pieces. I showed how I made it in a reel on my instagram page if you want to see it.
Our tree was decorated as a combined effort between the kids and I. We always do a combination of new ornaments and sentimental ones we’ve collected over time. It also has gone through a few times of almost being knocked down by our dog! So I’m just so happy its still standing at this point 😉 This last photo is one of my favorites because a fun holiday mug and cozy slippers are some of the best things about enjoying Christmas. Happy Holidays, friends!
