Over the last few years I have occasionally been sharing design boards (often called mood or inspiration boards too) over on my Instagram. I usually make them when planning out a space for decorating or renovating because visually seeing a space together is how I can best choose what I need. I eventually started making them just for fun here and there. After polling over on my stories we are bringing them back and I am going to start sharing them weekly. So here is the first installment!
Design Boards
Neutral cozy living room – I have been loving seeing this style rug in a few different scales lately! This was the first piece I choose when creating this space. It’s such a fun print but in the neutral colors its not too overwhelming. Having a mix of finishes in the accents like the wood, black and gold break it up a bit and keep it interesting. Switch it up
I thought a fun take on this is to change up a detail or two and see how it makes an impact on the space. Here I just changed out the wall color and now the space takes a little more coastal twist on this transitional space. Which one would you choose? Paint color: Morning at Sea by Sherwin Williams

Life Lately
Heres a quick round up of some fun things from the last couple weeks that you may have missed!
I picked up these little branches from Trader Joes recently and it gave me the perfect reason to tidy up my dresser and give it a little dimension by adding them. It’s always nice to have some pretty yet functional pieces like the tray for my fragrances and the diffuser. I can’t believe its been over 10 years since I painted this dresser! One of my very first DIY projects and it still holds my heart. I thought about painting it again last year but I just can’t bring myself to do it.

New places
A couple fun new places I have checked out recently! This week I went to Be Scene Boutique in Rochester for the first time for an event and they have so many cute pieces. I can’t wait to show you all the pieces I picked up but here’s a sneak peek.
Boutique Finds

And our family went out for a little early dinner at Sylvan Table which has amazing food! If you are local its a must try! Everything is so good but also save room for dessert.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
