This bathroom may still be one of my favorite rooms in the house. We renovated it years ago and I still just love the feel of the space every time I come in here. I do love to change out the items on the vanity every so often to keep it fresh so I thought I’d share a few ways on how to accessorize a bathroom vanity my way.
One important thing to try to consider when you want to accessorize a bathroom vanity is what is best for the size and needs in your space. For example our vanity has 2 sinks but they are not all that distant from one another. Having a tray in between the two sinks makes it so we can easily share one hand soap and other items and don’t need two of anything and it cuts down on how much we need out.
Another thing that makes a big difference in the feel of the space is having some form of plant or greenery. It will bring life into the space! You can add just greens in a vase like I did here or adding some plants near the window would be great. If you don’t want it on your bathroom vanity, hanging ones would all work great too. If you even want to go for that spa feel hang some eucalyptus in your shower!
My bathroom vanity must haves
A few things I always like to use for my vanity to keep it organized and make things convenient for me. Trays! Using some kind of tray to organize your everyday used items on top of your vanity makes it feel less like clutter and more purposeful. Whether you do it like this for items like hand soap and qtips or for your skincare and beauty products, its very impactful in keeping things organized and neat. Another thing that makes a big difference is having clear trays for organizing drawers and others for the cabinets. Ok I know this isn’t very exciting but having everything organized below helps keep the countertop free from clutter. And as you pull things out its so easy to just put it right back in its set place.
I think whenever you are going to accessorize a bathroom vanity the most important thing to keep in mind is having a good balance of function and styling. Adding too many things to your countertop is just going to make it difficult for the space to work for you!
