We are inching closer to starting the renovation of the outside of our home. The main project is going to be having our patios and walkways removed and redone, as well as some landscaping. I decided to get going on finding new furniture and decor for the space because we want to be able to enjoy it once its done. Our current table and chairs we’ve had for over 10 years and its just time for an update.
One thing I have noticed over the years is that this can be quite time consuming as well as a little frustrating since so many pieces sell out very fast during the season. Since I was doing all the research I thought I would share all my fun finds. Even if you aren’t planning a big change it may just provide a little inspo if you want to change a few things up.
Here’s a look at what we are doing for ours. This is most of the pieces we will be doing and I can’t wait to see it come together! I personally like to mix and match pieces from a few different sets or retailers. Having some matching pieces is nice to tie it all together but swapping in some varying looks creates a little more interest and breaks it up a little. For example our table base and sofa are from the same collection but the chairs and accessories and something I swapped out.
One important piece of advice is to check the shipping date before you place an order. A lot of places will let you order and just ship when available but if you were looking to use it this summer make sure its not shipping in October. They change often so just make sure its a good fit for when you need it or that you are ok with waiting if needed. If you find something in stock I personally wouldn’t wait. I waited one day on something and then it was backordered the next day.
Patio refresh ideas
Since I found so many pieces while searching I broke them up into several different style categories to share. I personally love them all!
The boho style is so fun with the pops of color and varying texture. This daybed is so pretty!
So many ways to make this neutral style your own! These pieces make for a great base and you can change our accessories over time for different looks.
This just has me dreaming of a bright and cozy beach house. The coastal style is so fun with this crisp and airy feel.
This is modern feel yet still cozy with some fun chairs and laid back sectional.
