Spring Decor Refresh for Less
A lot of people don’t want to change their design at home seasonally because it sounds expensive and like a lot of work. But it doesn’t have to be that complicated. So I decided to do a quick spring decor refresh for less to show how simple it can be!
Here are a couple general tips for changing out decor easily:
-Buy pillows that have removable covers. They may be a little more at first but over time worth the investment. Buy new ones seasonally or keep a couple sets to change out twice a year or more. If you are like me and have kids and/or pets being able to remove and wash them is a-maz-ing!
Here’s what I did to change things up. Swapped out my older throw pillows for brighter colors and a floral pattern. I don’t usually go in the floral direction so we are giving it a whirl this season. My solid pillows are from West Elm. I actually made the floral ones myself.
-Watch for deals! Always be on the lookout for things that may be useful in your homes decor. At the end of the season snatch up some accessories on sale to use for the next year. You’ll be so happy you did it when the time comes to use it.

-Get creative. Use florals and plants that are seasonally appropriate to complete your decor. Look for free printables and stick them in an extra frame. Find loose decor items items at craft stores and put them in a vase or bowl and you’re done!

Updated the mantel with fresh flowers and a framed graphic. I just made the graphic myself quickly on Canva so it would match my colors. Try making one or even look for free printables there are so many available.
-Keep it small. This may be obvious but update using smaller things like accessories or textiles. They are the easiest to change out and least expensive.
Thats it! Those few things make such a big difference. Now if the weather will just get warmer we will be all set 🙂 Now that you are spring time ready you may also need some ideas for Easter Brunch!
